Diablo 2 Resurrected: You think you want this, but you do not want it

After 20 years, Diablo 2 is back. The new edition of Diablo 2 resurrected was going to play beta version. Our Schuhmann author says: What Blizzard said with petulance about Wow Classic 5 years ago applies to me with devil. Some things should stay in the past.

There are three sentences for which you are known to Blizzard:

  • It's ready when it's done
  • You do not have cell phones?
  • You think you want that, but you do not want it

The last sentence (you think so, but no) was said by the Blizzard Blanco, J. Allen Brack, in Blizzcon in 2016 when a fan of Wow asked if Blizzard was bringing back old expansions of Wow.

BRACK said:

Do you remember what was it then when you were in a city and constantly had to send spam? I need a tank, I need a tank, I need a tank. No, you do not remember today, because today you only press a button and you stop at the dungeon. You do not want to recover this time.

At that time, Blizzard fought against playing a game of the past because they were sure: in the 10 years from Wow Vanilla we have progressed so much, our game is much better today than then.

Brack was severely scolded by him. It is a ruling that presumes Blizzard: they know what players want better than themselves.

Diablo 2 Resurrected is for Diablo 3 as Wow Classic is for Wow

The last 2 years really show: BRACK was wrong. Wow Classic was a great success. Many people really want what they want.

Wow Classic was the largest brilliant point in weak years for Blizzard and a great source of income. Therefore, now they have been submerged fully in Diablo 2 ResSurcted and brought an activision study dedicated to Blizzard, who had previously done a good job at Destiny 2, to make a new edition of Diablo 2.

Blizzard apparently no longer manages internal remakes, as you can see in the terrible Warcraft III RefoGed. Supposedly, the team behind him has now dissolved and distributed to other departments.

Diablo 2 resurrected is well done. It is related to Diablo 3 in principle, as WOW Classic is related to WOW of today. It is 15 years older, in some way more authentic and rude, and lacks the functions of comfort and subsequent development of the last 15 years.

I loved and enjoyed devil 2 20 years ago. Now, the weekend used the beta version to check it again. I will tell you right away: I did not last long.

The closed beta of Diablo 2 resurrected is over, that's what the players say at the end

For me, Brack phrase applies completely. I can not play Diablo 2 without losing myself the functions of convenience that I got used in Devil 3 years later.

  • I find it terrible that you can no longer shoot skills directly using the F keys, but activate them with the F keys on the mouse button and only then activate them.
  • I do not want to fight for tens of hours in a unconvincing initial game until you get the variety of skills and elements I'm half customary.
  • I do not want to have to identify items to know if they are good or not and use them later.
  • I do not want to have to go back to the city to decide which booty take, which to sell and which store.
  • I do not want to have to move potions in my inventory when there have been much better solutions for years.
  • And I do not want a mission to simply kill all the monsters in a dungeon with which I stumbled by accident.

I did all this 20 years ago, I loved doing it too, but the days of Diablo 2 had already finished for me. In the following years, when I discovered the MMORPG, I never had the need to play Diablo 2.

It was not up to 15 years after I was happy again for Diablo 3, here the condensed search of the booty and the best construction convinced me.

In essence, Diablo 2 is a game machine from which you constantly take out and spit the booty. This is a mechanics that works for me and I enjoy. But I want the genre to advance, bring new ideas, inspire me with fast actions and intelligent constructions.

In summary: I want to play Diablo 4, Lost Ark or Path of Exile 2 and not a game from which I was tired 20 years ago ...

Diablo 2 resurrected looks a bit like when Ultra High-range television breaks at 2021 and you have to look back with the tube screen. Yes, it is purist and somehow slows down and that can also be fun and I understand all those who say: Everything was better in the past and time now happens so fast and today everything is so colorful, noisy and annoying, But my test Diablo 2 RESURCTED simply does not hit. So today I can understand BRACK well. If you want to make a picture of Diablo 2 ResSurcted, you will soon have the opportunity to do it again: The open beta of devil 2 resurrected starts soon, so the preload begins and be part of it

Making World of Warcraft Classic Gold Using Limited Supply Items

This strategy to make wow classic gold has yet to be used to its full potential. Some people do take advantage of this but not enough so you can still make a lot of wow classic gold using this technique. The only question people have about this is. Where do U4GM find the limited supply items at? Don't worry, and we do go through that in other guides on the site. First and foremost, what is a limited supply item?  A limited supply item is an item for sale from a vendor, but the vendor only has a minimal supply of items for sale. You can know this by the Item having a number in the bottom right corner of the picture. These items do respawn. While some take 30 minutes to respawn others take up to 24-48 hrs! The limited supply items you want to look for to make a lot of gold are usually recipes I found those to be the most profitable. Typically you can buy a Recipe for around 20s and sell it on the auction house for 1-2 gold or more in some cases. I had purchased a recipe b...

Path of exile delights less players on Steam - Why?

Inpath of exile recently gave up many changes with the update 3.15 "expedition". Especially on balancing was screwed and many builds lost to damage. The players do not seem to be excited about it - but what's going on? This is different with the new update other than before: With new, big updates, the popular Hack'n'Slay Path of Exile can usually always pull very many players in his spell, but this time that did not work so well How to look at the numbers. The current update 3.15 "Expedition" reached about 23% fewer players for launch than previous extensions. But not only the launch ran bad, even in the days after the update, more and more players went. Just a few days after the appearance, so small players were measured as they reached other extensions only after weeks. So "Expedition" has lost around 24% of its release date players after a few days . For comparison: The previous update "Ultimateum" has lost only 3.4% of th...

Talk were an English band formed in 1981, led by Mark Hollis (vocals, guitar, piano), Lee Harris (drums), as well as Paul Webb (bass). The group achieved very early graph success with the synth-pop singles Talk Talk (1982 ), It s My Life , and also Such an Embarassment (both 1984) before relocating towards a much more speculative method in the mid-1980s, introducing what came to be referred to as post-rock. Talk attained widespread important success in Europe as well as the UK with the songs Life s What You Make It (1985) and also Residing In Another World (1986 ); in 1988, they launched their 4th cd Spirit of Eden, which was critically well-known yet failed to offer. Friction with the band s tag, EMI, caused legal activity and also countersuing. Webb left, as well as the band switched to Polydor for their last workshop cd, 1991 s Laughing Stock, yet split quickly after that. Singer Mark Hollis launched one solo cd in 1998 before retiring from the music industry; he passed away in 2019...
