"That was it?" The last story chapter in WoW has disappointed me

WOW-Fachdemon Corthyn has a little to complain. The last chapter of the pact campaign Inworld of Warcraft has been published - and lasted almost 7 minutes.

With the start of the new week in World of Warcraft, the last story chapter of the pact campaign of patch 9.1 chains of domination has also been unlocked. The expectations were great, because this chapter was the only one not tested on the PTR. All content was still uncertain.

Now, after playing the last part of the campaign, it can be clearly saying: The expectations were disappointed.

Spoiler warning: The article deals with the last chapter of the Pact campaign from World of Warcraft. If you prefer to play that yourself, you should not read more.

But let's summarize what happens in the final step of the pact campaign at all:

The Primus shares us on Korthia that the attack on Torghast is completed. The campaign once again plays immediately after the attack on the sanctum of the rule and the controversial Cinematic with Sylvanas and the Chairman.

Jaina has taken itself the compass that Anduin has left in Oribos and feels that it is hidden in a message. Together with Bolvar and Thrall, it manages to play the message. It is a fresh memory of Anduin to a conversation with Sylvanas. He feels that more and more of him is lost, but simultaneously shows sympathy for sylvanas and can now understand how they must have felt under the influence of the Lichkönig.

I would like to emphasize clearly that the quality of the small ingame sequence is extremely good. I like the dialogue between Anduin and Sylvanas, but also the graphic implementation is good. For a Cutscene with Ingame graphics, the lip synchronicity (at least in English version) was pretty good. There was much more work in it as in the small Garrosh-Cutscene, at which only a single employee crocheted.

The shortest final of all time

The problem with the whole thing: that's quasi with the campaign. After the video comes a small quest where all the packages provide their seal to bundle their powers and be ready. The Primus points again that "death believes of the soul of our world", but we still have the chance to thwart that ".

Then is over. Achievement for the completed campaign, 1,250 Anima - end of the campaign.

The whole thing was, if you put the duration of the cinematic and the CutScene shown, just under 7 minutes long.

Sure, now it is obvious that the last chapter was only a small "wrap-up" that brings together the crashes of recent weeks and to establish the new status quo. The pacts are strengthened again and ready to oppose what is always zovaal.

But it leaves a unsatisfactory feeling. Not, because there is a cliff hanger again - it was very often at the end of a patch and is something that does not bother me. But the brevity of the quest series this week was a unparalleled degree for the history of this patch.

Honestly, the 20-second follow-up quest has not helped, in which you have to cancel a book that creates an illusion of Mal'ganis, which is very short "haha, I am also free again, you fool" says Then summarized. Since myself I had to frowned the forehead, even though the whole story - still pleased quite well.

I understand why Blizzard did not show the last chapter of the campaign on the PTR. After all, the content of the Quest would have also spoiled the Cinematic in the end of the sanctum of domination. Therefore, it was definitely the right decision not to make the chapter playable in advance.

However, the secrecy of the chapter also brought a certain expectation, which unfortunately could not be met.

Above all, the fade tissue is that this last story bunk was probably the last thing we have to see this year by Anduin and Sylvanas. Because my hope is low that patch 9.2 will appear in 2021. Considering the delay that there was already at patch 9.1, the next big update minimum is likely to be 5 months away.

More from Corthyn's Mecker Wednesday or World of Warcraft is here:

  • Why does not one of the most important social features in Wow work for years?
  • Only abysmal evil people touch Gamepads with chips fingers
  • WoW players complain: "Shadowlands destroyed my love to the story"

A small consolation paving is that different NPCs now "" - have got options that still provide a few more information. But I'm not really happy too.

I'm looking forward to what comes in patch 9.2 - whenever that will be the case. But the cup of taste of this particularly short final will remain for a lot of time. How did you perceive the pact campaign and above all the finals today?

How to choose WOW Classic Class with Skills, Features

Compared with the formal service, the WOW Classic has more skills in each class, and there are many skills to learn in each level of 2, and most of the skills have a level, which also led many players in the Classic WOW to learn skills during the upgrade. None of the WOW Classic Gold , in order to ride the pony at the fastest speed of 40, also need selective learning skills. The following U4GM will share with you the skills of each class of WOW Classic and the skills that can be learned at each level. 1. Warrior - Tank, Damage Although Warrior is the perfect Class of WOW Classic design, it is also the class with the least skill. This also leads to the high price of Warrior single skill learning. However, because of the less Skill, each one is very useful. Basically, there is no Warrior to choose to jump.
